The Origin sliding door is a modern, breath-taking update on the traditional patio door system, the glazed panels slide in front of each other to create an entrance. Over a large aperture it is a hugely impressive visual feast. Doors slide all the way to the left, or to the right, or staged intermittently providing the ultimate flexibility. With only 20mm sightlines visible, the Origin Slider creates a huge impact on a room, so you will enjoy a wall of glass, configured exactly the way you want to.
The Origin slider doesn’t slide. It glides. You can choose a double or triple track configuration, to stack the doors however you want, to the left to the right or in the middle of your space. The tracks blend in to the door frames so they are barely visible. So there’s much less chance of anyone catching their fingers or toes! For an ultra-sleek effect the track can be recessed into the floor for a flush finish (allowances need to be incorporated into the design for drainage).
There’s so much colour choice with the Origin Slider you will definitely find the perfect shade to compliment your environment. The most popular colours are Anthracite Grey (7016M) and Jet Black (9005M). These colours produce a stunning break and frame the space elegantly. They also benefit from a reduced lead time. And it isn’t just the colour that is bespoke. The size, configuration, panels, handle colour will all be exactly tailored to your needs.
All Origin sliders have safety in mind too. Each door is equipped with an ultra-secure multi-point lock with a minimum of six points of locking. It also only has a handle on the inside, that means locks can’t be picked from the outside. The Origin sliding door comes as a complete bonded system meaning the frames come structurally connected to the glass. This significantly reduces the possibility of being able to pry the glass away from the frame. The frames themselves are highgrade strong aluminium and the glass is incredibly dependable, constructed with two toughened sheet, 6mm on both the inward and outward facing panes with an 18mm spacer – making it tough to break and thermally efficient.
